Former BC star Goodreault dies at 92 (AP)Former Boston College football star Gene Goodreault has died at 92. The school says he died Tuesday in Orinda, Calif., after a long illness. Goodreault was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1982. He played end on offense and tackle on defense. He was on the team that won the 1941 Sugar Bowl and also played in the 1940 Cotton Bowl, the first bowl game for Boston College.
